CGF Roofing Contractors in Bridgend are the UK’s leading contractors in the roofing sector. Built on the WordPress platform the site has a clean layout with a very  muted color scheme. As the logo is comprised of primary colours it was important that the site be easy on the eye. First of a two part project. Roofing supplies shop to follow.

New look featuring on CSS Mania

I’m delighted to feature on CSS Mania the worldwide leader of CSS Showcase sites.

I always find redesigning my own site a real hardship as the majority of portfolio sites follow the same format and finding a fresh way to showcase your work seems at times challenging to say the least. Overall I’m pleased with it and will resist the temptation to tinker.

Netrino Redesign

I’ve been asked to give the company website a fresh outlook. I’ve decided on a clean white design and redesigned the homepage layout so key information is perhaps more accessible. The portfolio page also has a more compact layout to display the impressive list of clients. Overall I think it works really well.

Launched earlier in the week and built on the WordPress platform the web site promotes the annual Welsh National Pilgrimage to Lourdes and helps members keep abreast of news and events. The design is clean, easily navigable and centered around the blog which acts as the main news portal for the Catholic pilgrims. Custom pages allow information to flow freely and image galleries let members easily upload and share past memories.

Martin Phillips Studio

I’m pretty pleased with a design for a local photographer I did with Type. The new site for Martin Phillips Studio in Porthcawl is now live and has a clean cut quirky look. Martin had a lot of input in the design which needed to reflect the business as a whole.

The site was interesting to build. It required photo galleries to display and sell his work and as it was built on the wordpress platform I used the Nextgen plugin with a reliable ecommerce plugin e-Store. An add-to-cart template meant that with just a few lines of code he could transform galleries into shopping pages.

It was also a chance to try out a mailchimp plugin for newsletter subscribers.

Martin is happy with the site and you can read his testimonial: here.
