Testing IE10

Internet Explorer continues to be a thorn in the side of web developers.

I gave up on half-hearted attempts to install IE10 on Windows 7 – the required SP wouldn’t install despite following the recommended advice and then not to be beaten I downloaded a VM from www.modern.ie/en-US only to decide I’d much prefer continue using BrowserStack than actually set it up. I guess I’m only 80% nerd.

Browerstack is a paid service but if you follow this link www.modern.ie/en-US/virtualization-tools you can get 3 months of testing free to evaluate if it’s the best option for you.

If you use Mailchimp for your email marketing, MCBoards is a useful plugin to dynamically generate images of past campaigns so visitors to your site can see what they’d get in their inbox if they signed up to your newsletter.
